Did you join us for our Merienda Hour event last fall with Gaby Montes de Oca? It was one of our favorite events of the year - and we’re welcoming Gaby back for another incredible gastronomic experience!
Join us on Sunday, May 3rd, for a one-day-only lunch where (some) Venezuelan classics will be reinterpreted through a deeply personal lens, shaped by the Levantine flavors that have become part of her table. Expect ajíes, herbs, smoke, and spices layered across dishes that move between cultures and memory, all paired with a curated selection of Grand Cata's Latin American wines.
Gaby Montes de Oca is a Venezuelan immigrant, the founder of Tepui Culinary Experiences, and a member of the James Beard Foundation’s Legacy Network. Her work sits at the intersection of storytelling and food, creating spaces where culture is experienced rather than just served. We are so excited to welcome her back to Grand Cata so she can continue to share her incredible food and storytelling with our community!
This event is at 1PM on Sunday, May 3rd in our Shaw Flagship. Tickets are $80 per person and include a family-style lunch with 4 paired wines. Stay tuned for a menu release soon, but get your tickets while you can!
