Wine Classes on demand!
We love showcasing our space and teaching our customers about all the wine regions we have in our stores. That’s why we offer three different Wine Classes on Demand for $35 per guest. Vaya Con Vino members can use their 10% discount to book classes as well. See our class options below:
OPTION 1
SIT, SIP AND LEARN
Reserve our communal table and sit down to a class lead by one of our catadores to learn more about the wines we showcase in the shop! You will sip (4) wines and cover the basics of the “systematic approach to tasting,” allowing you to appreciate wine at a new level. You’ll also learn about different regions, the effects of climate and soil, wine-making techniques, history, and how to pair wine with food.
We require a minimum of (48) hours advance notice to confirm the class. You’ll need at least (6) guests to reserve the table, and we cap this type of class at (16) guests. The class runs for 90 minutes.
OPTION 2
STAND, MINGLE, CONVERSE
With this option, you’ll have a more casual experience tasting (4) wines. While we will introduce and briefly talk about each wine, the focus here is on you being able to move about freely. The Catador leading the class will mingle with you as well and discuss the wines in a more intimate setting. Feel free to ask any questions you have about the wines we serve, wine in general, grape-growing, regions, you name it.
We require a minimum of (48) hours of advance notice to confirm the class. You’ll need at least (15) guests to reserve the space, and we cap this type of class at (30) guests. The class runs for up to 2 hours.
Option 3
Class for Two:
Looking for a fun date or want to try something new with a friend? Join us for a Class for Two where one of our Catadors will showcase how to systematically analyze and taste four different wines. We’ll teach you and a guest about different regions, soils, climates, styles, and expressions of grapes, and we’ll include a small plate of some of our favorite snacks to cleanse your palate while you sip!
$100 per group of two. Includes four pours of wine per person and light bites.
Events at Grand Cata!
We offer the Grand Cata experience in any of our locations to host wine classes, off-sites and buyouts. Perfect excuse to celebrate with friends, family, work colleagues and neighbors.

After every event we offer 10% OFF on all wine purchases to all participants. Guests can also bring in their own snacks. Our events offer a perfect way to celebrate birthdays, have fun with friends and family, and build team chemistry within your company.
