Every year, our flagship gets a special energy in fall. The new season brings a different sunlight and we start transitioning to new wines. As a team we get excited, the cooler air around is an indication that the holiday season is upon us and it’s time to find and enjoy new gems.

While we have all our energy set on helping you to get those special bottles for the celebrations, as wine drinkers we love this time of the year. The time change (happening this Sunday, don’t forget you get one more a hour to sleep) allow us to pop a bottle earlier during the day with the sunset and enjoy a glass in a cozy environment and tuning in to our favorite music. Wine inspiration? Think rustic yet elegant with fresh fall aromas in your glass…Volcanic wines from southern Chile such as Pais, Cinsault and Carignan from Leo Erazo and Roberto Henriquez. Think rich, bold and pure such as some of our favorite Malbecs from Argentina…Zuccardi Poligonos Malbec, Matias Riccitelli’s Malbecs and many more to explore.
Another aspect of November is Thanksgiving Day and all the celebrations around the table this month. We have made an effort to bring a great selection of party wines to make it easier to enjoy the festivities, we are flattered and happy that a piece of Grand Cata will be at your dinner table this month.
In our location at La Cosecha we have done some fall transitions. We have a new wine list highlighting more fall season wines -including wines from Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. Also our market has a much cozy warm environment, we want you to imagine traveling to Patagonia and opening the door on a rustic cabin full of wine and provisions.

The icing on the cake is our newest location at Mosaic District in VA. While we’ve been opened for three months, right now is the time to go and enjoy not only a glass of wine but as well a our newest addition to the food menu: Peruvian Style Anticuchos with Aji Panca and Guava, Papas a la huancaina, fresh made empanadas and much more. Explore wines from Latin America and take home the expirence with our wine retail market.
