Thanksgiving is amazing. Great food, time with family and friends, and plenty of wine!

Picking the right wines though can be a teeny bit stressful, so we’ve picked three wines we have in the store we know will go with nearly any spread:

  1. Garzon Albariño, Uruguay. $21 - A white grape originally from Galicia, Spain, Albariño works wonderfully with a wide array of dishes because of its unique texture. Unlike most whites, where you have to choose between crisp or round, Albariño combines a nice little prickle on the finish with a soft, yet bold, mid-palate. It’s flavors center on citrus, herbs and minerals, and are not over-powering.

  2. “Amanda” Natural Rosé, 100% Garnacha from Valladolid, Spain. $27 - Who says Rose season has to end? Especially so early? The added notes of tart berry (compared to a white) alongside the lighter and fresher texture (compared to a red), makes Rosé tough to beat for Thanksgiving dinner. We chose this one because it’s exceptional, and will convert even the most skeptical of grumpy Uncles.

  3. Azienda Agricola Bochis Francesco, Grignolino, Piedmonte. $19 - This ultra-rare red grape from the Piedmont region became an instant hit with both our Catadores and customers after we decided to bring it in on a whim about 6 weeks ago. Think Pinot Noir from Burgundy or Oregon, but with a touch more grip from the tannins and darker fruit notes like blackberry and plum.

We hope these suggestions help! And of course, if these aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, we always welcome you to stop by and ask one of our Catadores for their suggestions too!
